To send MIDI timecode to MixStage™ under Windows, you must install third-party software to create a Virtual Midi Cable between your DAW and the MixStage™ DAW streamer.

Activate a virtual MIDI device in Windows

Several options are available. MixStage has no affiliation with any specific solution, but according to users, LoopMidi is an option that works well.

To set up your Virtual Midi routing; read the documentation for the third-party solution you chose in the step above.

Tip: You can check the instructions for OSX for the general idea.

DAW Setup

In the DAW, the MIDI device will be displayed as the name of your Virtual Midi Cable. Follow the steps for your specific DAW to send MIDI to the DAW Streamer.
