To set up Nuendo for DAW streaming, you need to change some settings within the DAW.

MTC

You first want to configure your synchronization settings, which you’ll find in Nuendo’s “Project Synchronization setup.”

In the Destinations tab, check the box for your preferred virtual MIDI device under MIDI Timecode Destinations.

This setting is all you need to sync with the DAW streamer. Nuendo sends proper MTC standard messages for all relocate, loop, and other events by default.

Project frame rate

To make sure sync is obtained properly between your Nuendo Project and MixStage™, you want to check the video’s start time and frame rate

You'll find it under Project > Project setup

Click on the "Get Frame Rate from Video" button to ensure the project has the same frame rate as the video.

Match these settings when you load your project in the MixStage session.

Lastly - Make sure that the output of your audio and MIDI in Nuendo matches the input of the DAW streamer.

These settings will allow the MixStage session to receive TimeCode and audio from your

project and follow your current playhead position in Nuendo for a flawless experience.
