To set up Pro Tools for DAW streaming, you need to change some settings within the DAW.
NOTE: Pro Tools does not send correct data while in Loop mode; this is a Pro Tools issue and can not be changed. Therefore, avoid running in Loop mode.

MTC
First - Go to “Setup” and then click on “Peripherals”
In the Synchronization tab, click on MTC Generator Port and choose your MIDI device.
MTC reader port can be left to “Any”
MIDI Machine Control MMC
Go to the "Machine Control" tab and enable MIDI Machine Control Master, and again: choose your MIDI device.
Pro Tools Preferences
Go to Pro Tools "Preferences" and head to the "Synchronization" tab, check the box for "Machine Follows Edit Insertion/Scrub" and "Machine cues intelligently."
Send MTC
You also need to enable and activate the "Generate MTC button" in your transport by right-clicking the transport and checking the "Synchronization" box.
Alternatively, you can activate MTC in the transport at the top of the project as well; this is the same setting:
Audio output
Lastly - Make sure that the audio output of your desired channels in Pro Tools matches the input of the DAW streamer.
You typically use an AUX I/O (PT 2022-09 and later) to create a separate output for the DAW streamer. TIP: Hold [control] on your keyboard to select several outputs for a single channel in Pro Tools. I.e., send your Master to your main output and the Aux I/O.
