To download markers from MixStage™, click the Cloud Download icon in your marker list.

If you want to export specific markers only, search/filter them before clicking the cloud download icon. The search/filter will let you export only the filtered markers.

Save to disk

Click the cloud icon in your MixStage Marker panel

Choose the Logic Pro XML Option

After a little while, a new window will appear when your Logic Pro XML file is ready for download. Click on "DOWNLOAD LOGIC MARKER" to save a zip file to your hard drive.

Explanation: Logic Pro does not support marker import. To circumvent this our MixStage™ exported file is a compressed zip file containing an XML with a referenced audio file that contains audio markers that Logic can read. This means you must follow a few additional steps to add them to your project timeline.

Double click to Extract the downloaded zip-file to your hard drive

Right-click the extracted fcpXML file and select Open With -> Logic Pro.

This will open a new Logic project only containing the markers and an empty audio file.

Click Don't close (if prompted)

Confirm the suggested settings by selecting the blue/suggested settings - Important

The frame rate will be read from the MixStage project and the sample rate will always be 48kHz. This must not be changed.

Select import to import markers (if this panel does not appear, reset your previous settings for logics "don't ask again" and try over)

Open your marker panel in logic to see everything is imported correctly, then select and copy all markers using standard copy-paste mechanisms.

Lastly: Select your actual project and paste the markers in your marker panel.

You may now close the newly created project without saving.

All markers with the correct position and name are now available on your Logic Pro timeline.
