Why do you need screen sharing in MixStage?
Our screen share is of very high quality. Still, it is nothing compared to the audio video quality of our DAW stream or shared transport functionality, which displays 100% full quality at all times without additional compression. No screen-sharing mechanism could ever do that, at least not consistently.
Think of the screen share as a way to share documents, spreadsheets, or an "over the shoulder" tool to show a client or team member what happens on your screen. Use the DAW stream and/or uploaded file to watch and listen.
Share your screen
The share screen button is located on the session window's top, right-hand side.
Press the 'Share Screen' button to start sharing.
Select what to share.
Choose between full screen, a specific window, or a tab.
All can share
Several people can share screens at once in a MixStage session. Each user sharing screen will have an icon below their video chat bubble. Click on the one you want to watch. The shared screen will open in a pop-up or a separate tab, depending on your settings.
