What is the difference between a Session and a Project?
A live session is where you may invite up to 20 people into a room to collaborate, review and discuss in real time. A project is essentially a folder of one or many files that may be shared for review and collaboration for file-based review in non-real-time. A shared project can be watched and commented on by any of the participants in their own time and place.
Invite to session: Method One - Direct Invitation:
Select an empty row.
Enter the email address of the person you wish to invite.
Click "Add Seat". An invitation email will be sent to the specified address.
Invite to session: Method Two - Share a Room Link:
Click the "Copy Room Link" option.
This action copies a shortened link that you can share with potential collaborators.
Collaborators can access your room by clicking the link. They will "ring the doorbell," and you can choose to grant them access.
Share a project
If you want another user to gain access to the project so they can comment on it in their own time without your interaction, you would typically share the project with them rather than inviting them to a live session.
The Edit Project Panel
Click a project (in your dashboard or a session) to open the edit project panel.
Click on the add user icon in the "shared with" panel.
Enter the email address of the person you wish to invite.
The invitee will receive an email with a link that directs them to your project, allowing them to watch and comment at their convenience.
Any markers or comments are shared and will appear on your timeline. However, this session is not conducted in real time.
Un-share a Project:
Remove the user if you wish to revoke access to a shared project.
